Student of the Month!

We are so proud of our Halle Bear! She was student of the month for February! She has been trying all year to achieve this goal and she finally did! I knew she could! Congratulations, Halle, keep up the great work.

Haidyn's 2nd Birthday!!

I can't believe my Haidyn Bear is already 2!! We had a fun birthday with a small family party with cupcakes and presents, then spent the day at the Renaissance Festival with Gram-D and Gramp-E. She has grown up so much in this last year. Happy Birthday, Haidyn, we love you so much!

Halle's 6th Birthday

I can't believe my Halle Bear is 6 years old! This year we had a small family party with Grandma Wilson, Aunt Marcie, and us. I also took her and her BFF, Annie, to Chucky Cheese for some extra fun. She had a great time. I will always remember this birthday because of her birthday cake. I forgot that cake will expand and I filled the cake mold up to the rim. After about 20 minutes I smelled smoke and when I looked into the oven, it was like a cake volcano! The batter was oozing out of the top and all over the bottom of the oven and when it landed on the heating element it had started a small fire in my oven!! After moving the batter off of the element and putting a pan under the cake to catch the "volcano", I started to air out the room before the smoke alarms went off. I turned on the fans and went back to check on the cake when all of a sudden the birthday balloons got caught in the ceiling fan and just about popped. After all this, when the cake was finally done and cooled off, when I started frosting it, it just crumbled all over. It was not my best cake, but the evening turned out great and I was glad when the day was finally over. Happy Birthday, Halle. Next year I will buy you a great cake. ;)

Student of the Month!

First Day of School 2010!

Halle started kindergarten this year and she did great! Hannah started 2nd grade and was a big helper showing her little sister around her school. Haidyn and I miss them both but are excited for our time alone together. Here's to a great school year!!

Cruise 2010!

Here are some pics from our cruise this summer. We had a great time with my whole family. It was so great that we were all able to go, especially since my brother Jordan was leaving for the Navy the week after we got back. We had a blast!!

Happy 7th Birthday, Hannah!!

Hannah turned 7 this year and her birthday happened to be at the same time we took our cruise. Although the cruise was for our family vacation, it was also a fun way to celebrate her birthday. They sang to her at dinner on the ship, then when we got off of the cruise, we spent the day at the beach, and had cupcakes and watermelon after to celebrate. Here are a few pics of her birthday. Halle's Graduation

Halle had a terrific year for her final year in preschool. Miss Lisa and Grandma Joyce were awesome and we are going to miss them next year. We can't believe Halle will be in kindergarten next year, but we know she will do great. We love you Halle bear and we are so proud of you!

Hannah's Cast

Well, Hannah broke her arm over spring break. Let's just say that it IS possible to fly through the one little opening in a trampoline net. She was very brave and is doing quite well being left handed. We survived our first break, although I am ashamed to say that I did scream when I first saw her arm in an S shape, but I regained my composure and got her to the ER. Here's hoping for a quick and successful recovery.

Happy 1st Birthday, Haidyn!

Haidyn turned 1 yesterday. Here is a picture of her at her party. We had a great time celebrating with family at her birthday BBQ. She has been such a sweet blessing in our lives and we can't believe how much she has grown. She has 2 teeth, weighs 20 pounds, claps, says hi, and although crawling is still her preferred way to move she can take up to 6 steps by herself. Happy Birthday sweet Haidyn. We love you!
